Gary originally hails from New Orleans. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado in 1983. He worked as an entrepreneur in the seafood and real estate industries prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate from Touro College in Huntington, New York in 1992. While in law school, he served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Law Review.
Gary’s practice has been solely devoted to family law since 1993. He enjoys the personal interaction associated with representing his clients, and finds his job is most rewarding when he can assist in resolving the difficult problems that arise in family law cases. Although Gary believes that most cases can be settled outside of court, he has enjoyed great success inside the courtroom as a result of his diligent, tireless preparation and attention to detail.
He is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected as a Colorado Super Lawyer. Gary is a member of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the Jefferson County Bar Association, the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
Gary is married and has two children. He enjoys skiing, hiking, fly-fishing, collecting music, and most important, spending time with his family.
